From branding to being: exploring identity through material and form

Maria Poe is a New Jersey–based visual artist with a background in consumer branding and packaging design, recognized by international awards including Cannes Lions, Red Dot, and Pentawards, she brings the visual language of mass production into her art practice. Her ongoing project, CAN-verse, uses the industrial can as a repeated form to explore individuality, transformation, and deviation within systems of consumption and standardization.
