Biomorphic clay forms covered with metallic glaze mimic the standardized objects around them, as if trying to blend into an environment that may not accept them otherwise. Existing between organism and object, they reflect adaptation as a survival strategy and explore the tension between one’s inner nature and the desire to belong.
